Habibi’s Angels is a living x-ray of Montreal that lays bare its foundations, ancient and modern. But can we really reveal the invisible? The show is a meta-experience of contrasting female visions, that of a blocked writer fighting against procrastination with coffee and cigarettes, those of Habibi's Angels holding a Moroccan mint tea ritual and that of a playful aquatic spirit whose care is undeniable. what unfolds, is the image of a modern Montreal populated by ancient dynasties. Does integration mean Old World hospitality or isolation from the New World?
