Bite Your Tongue is a feminist comedy about the weird space between your radical queer self and your family/ancestry, trying to reconcile a chasm that won’t close. The play is steeped in social awkwardness, poetry, absurdism, movement, dialogue and a desperation to connect to the person you want to be, as the characters wait at a dinner party for their cooler, older, “woke-er” host.

“The piece is relatable, poignant, and extraordinarily funny, all as it parses the complex relationships that many of us have with feminism, queerness, and family.” - Zoe Petterson, Bull and Bear Magazine
